🇮🇹 An Italian Christmas Tasting at Pizzata Deli
Join us at Pizzata Deli for a relaxed summer evening exploring some of our favourite Italian sparkling wines. We'll taste our way from fresh and fruity Prosecco through to elegant Metodo Classico, discovering what makes each style special and which bottles are perfect for Christmas brunch, Christmas lunch, summer entertaining, New Year's Eve or simply sharing around the table.
Along the way, we'll have a little festive fun with our Prosecco Bar, where you'll get to create your own sparkling drink using fresh fruit, Italian syrups and liqueurs. We'll show you a few easy combinations to try, then you can make your own festive glass to enjoy with dinner.
And of course, this is Pizzata, so there will be plenty of food. We'll start with festive canapés, settle in for Neapolitan pizza served at long shared tables, and finish with Italian gelato and a fun Tiramisù in a Glass dessert cocktail demonstration using Bottega Tiramisù Liqueur.
🥂 The Italian bubbles
We'll taste four very different Italian sparkling wines, with plenty of stories, tasting tips and ideas for serving them at home.
Ca' delle Rose Prosecco Rosé
Fresh, fruity and beautifully festive, with delicate red berry notes.
Bottega Il Vino dei Poeti Prosecco
Crisp, fresh and wonderfully versatile, a great bottle for sharing over Christmas.
Bottega Gold Prosecco
The iconic gold bottle, made for celebrations and a gorgeous gift for the Prosecco lover in your life.
Rotari Cuvée 28 Brut
Elegant Metodo Classico from the alpine vineyards of Trentino. Made using the traditional method, with the second fermentation taking place in the bottle and 28 months on the lees.
We'll finish with Bottega Tiramisù Liqueur, bringing coffee, cocoa and mascarpone flavours into a delicious dessert cocktail.
🍓 The Prosecco Bar
We'll show you how to turn a simple glass of Prosecco into something a little more special, using fresh fruit, Italian syrups and liqueurs.
Then it's your turn. Choose your favourite combination and create your own festive Prosecco to enjoy during the evening.
There'll be plenty of inspiration to take home for Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and summer entertaining.
🍕 Pizza, Gelato & Tiramisù in a glass
Once we've worked our way through the bubbles, we'll sit down to Pizzata's Neapolitan pizzas, served to the table and paired perfectly with the wines we're tasting.
We'll finish with Italian gelato, followed by our Tiramisù in a Glass demonstration, showing you just how easy it is to create an impressive dessert cocktail for Christmas entertaining.
🎄 A little Christmas inspiration to take home
You'll leave with more than a few new favourite wines. We'll share simple ideas for choosing bubbles for different occasions, pairing them with food and creating easy festive drinks at home.
